Tips on parking
I. A driver's license is a document confirming the right of any person to drive a vehicle. The description, specification and sample of the driver's license shall be approved by the relevant executive authority.
II. Depending on the type of motor vehicle, there are the following types of driving licenses issued in the Republic of Azerbaijan:
1) to drive motorcycles, ATVs, tricycles, cars, trams and trolleybuses;
2) to drive tractors and other motor vehicles.
III. The driver's license shall contain the following information numbered with the insignia of the Republic of Azerbaijan on international traffic - "AZ" and numbers within the ellipse sign:
1. surname of the card holder;
2. name and patronymic of the card holder;
3. date and place of birth of the cardholder;
4a. date of issuance of the card;
4b. the expiration date of the card;
4c. the name or stamp of the issuing authority;
4d. personal identification number of the card holder;
5. card number;
6. photo of the license holder;
7. signature of the certificate holder;
8. place of residence of the license holder;
9. Categories (subcategories) of vehicles to which the license holder has the right to drive;
10. date of assignment of each category (subcategory);
11. expiration date of each category (subcategory);
12. Additional information or restrictions on each category (subcategory) (note on the right to drive glasses or only to drive vehicles with automatic transmission);
14. Registration or other information related to road safety (note that the licensee has been granted the right to drive a vehicle with a blood type or "person with a disability").
IV. Driving licenses issued for driving vehicles provided for in paragraph 1 of Part II of Article 34 of this Law, in addition to the information provided for in Part 3 of this Article, shall indicate the following categories and subcategories of vehicles to which the right of driving applies:
1) "A1" - for driving motorcycles, tricycles and light quadricycles with an engine capacity of not more than 125 cubic meters and an engine power of not more than 11 kW;
2) "A" - for driving all types of motorcycles;
2-1) "B1" - for driving quadricycles provided for in paragraph 25-3 of Article 1 of this Law;
3) "B" - to drive the following vehicles:
Non-category A vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of 3,500 kg and no more than 8 seats in addition to the driver's seat;
cars of "B" category with the maximum permissible weight of the trailer not exceeding 750 kg;
Vehicles of category "B" with a maximum permissible mass of the trailer exceeding 750 kg, but not exceeding the unladen mass of the vehicle and, in general, the maximum permissible mass of such composition not exceeding 3500 kg;
3-1) C1 - cars not belonging to category "D" and subcategory "D1" with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3,500 kg, but not more than 7,500 kg, as well as a maximum permissible weight of a trailer of more than 750 kg to drive non-C1 vehicles;
4) "C" - for driving cars not belonging to category "D" with a maximum permissible mass of more than 3,500 kg, as well as vehicles of category "C" with a maximum permissible mass of a trailer not exceeding 750 kg;
4-1) "D1" - the number of seats intended for carriage of passengers, in addition to the driver's seat, not more than 8, but not more than 16 cars, as well as the maximum permissible weight of the trailer not exceeding 750 kg "D1" to drive cars from the subcategory;
5) "D" - for driving cars designed for passenger transportation and the number of seats, in addition to the driver's seat, more than 8, as well as cars of category "D" with a maximum permissible weight of the trailer not exceeding 750 kg;
6) "BE" - cars of category "B" with a maximum permissible mass of the trailer exceeding 750 kg and more than the unladen mass of the vehicle, as well as a maximum permissible mass of the trailer with a maximum permissible mass of more than 750 kg and 3500 as a whole to drive cars of category "B" over kg;
6-1) "C1E" - for driving cars of subcategory "C1" with the maximum permissible mass of the trailer not exceeding 750 kg, but not more than the unladen mass of the vehicle and the total permissible mass of such composition not exceeding 12,000 kg;
7) "CE" - for driving cars of "C" category with a maximum permissible trailer weight of more than 750 kg;
